One thing I've learned about friendships is they can be shattered on the meat the drop of a hat.



This is why i treasure my friendships with people to show i will not drop it unless i have a very good reason.

As that friend I will speak as the voice of reason and advise.

I will be blunt, and to the point, No sugar coating.

However if you choose to do the exact opposite of what I have said,

know this, Your actions have spoken for you, stating that you didn't want the advice in the first place. You just wanted to do what you wanted.

Usually people ask for advice because they want to solve a problem.

Now comes the most important part the choice to act or not act.

Both sides have consequences.

However if you say I'm your Number 1 guy over any boyfriend you to have, I would never expect you to cave to his demands on a whim when it becomes evident of a disagreement. Especially when you and I both know his reputation as a person.

You swore yourself to my side through all storms, and you threw it away in an instant just to please him.

You are not as strong as i thought were. In fact you are much weaker, for the fact that you have been intimidated by some one else whom has some how pushed there way into your life to allow themselves to have control over you. You tell me you don't back down, yet I've watched you do it.

There are two reasons for this.

The polite reason and the Real Reason.

The polite reason is oh you didn't want to upset him. because of all the fights and mistrust you have. (Hate to break it to you, He's an asshat, with no morals.

The real reason. Your weak. You are incapable of doing anything on your own to ensure your own survival, Always expecting some one to rescue you, Instead of being the independent strong woman I know you could be. Instead of standing your ground and defending yrour friend you scurry off with your tail between your legs. Thats right do as your told. Its a shame to see you reduced to this.

I hate to say this, but more often than not people disregard friendships (no matter how long established or how strong the connection) for a "love interest". The thing of it is, sometimes...no matter how we as a friend feel about our friend's significant other...all you can do is be there to listen, to give advice, to make that friend feel that that friendship hasn't been lost, and ultimately be there for them when something negative happens within their relationship. I think that's what a real friendship is, understanding that people will make mistakes...sometimes consistently, but caring enough for the person in question to still be there after those mistakes are made. People will pretty much always choose their boyfriend/girlfriend over their friend no matter how long established the friendship is, and how fleeting the relationship is...it's just how things tend to go.... I'm sorry.

Also, I have no clue what situation your friend is in, but I just felt like saying something that might stand the chance of easing your mind, I don't know, sorry for the intrusion.

i understand your point however, this person is a horrible person, (the guy im speaking about is very rotten inside and out.

And i do agree with your point to an. However If some one tells me I'm their number 1 and they have told several others this as well i hold them to that expectation.

I do not take my friendships lightly.

These two sentiments have been playing in my head the past several weeks. Allot of things have been going on, but i will still help some one if i can help it. The storm may not be mine, but the storm is still a storm.

Some times you have to charge into a storm to find out the worth of some one else regardless if there is a reward for yourself.

Either way you will be rewarded with knowledge and experience, Some disappointing others gratifying.

Which one have i run into, a bit of both. However while initially upset at this prospect, Ive learned a few things about my self to help me become a better person.

My Volcano is not yours, and Yours is not mine, However if you are trying to escape yours i will throw a line when i can.

The choice is mine and mine alone.
